Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how JerkGo ("JerkGo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when you use our website, web app, video chat service, moderation systems, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through the Service, including when you:

  1. Visit the website.
  2. Start or participate in chat sessions.
  3. Grant camera or microphone permissions.
  4. Interact with ads, sponsor panels, or affiliate links.
  5. Contact us or submit a legal/privacy request.
  6. Use any admin or moderation functions, if you are an authorized admin. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, ads, embeds, or services that we do not control.

Summary of How the Service Works

JerkGo is a no-login adult random video chat service. In ordinary operation:

  1. Your browser may request camera and microphone permissions.
  2. Matching preferences you select may be stored locally in your browser session.
  3. We use a signaling server to connect users for peer-to-peer communications.
  4. Text chat and media may be transmitted directly between users using WebRTC or similar peer-to-peer technologies rather than being stored on our servers in the ordinary course.
  5. We may process operational metadata, anti-abuse information, ad-related data, runtime configuration data, and moderation records.

Information We Collect

A. Information you provide or generate in the public chat flow Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

  1. Age confirmation status.
  2. Matchmaking preferences, such as selected gender preference and interests.
  3. Optional room codes or similar session-entry text you submit.
  4. Messages or signaling content necessary to establish or facilitate a session.
  5. Any information you send to us if you contact support or submit a complaint.
  6. Public users are not required to create a traditional account for basic use.

B. Camera, microphone, and chat data When you grant permissions:

  1. Your browser accesses your camera and microphone.
  2. Live audio/video streams may be transmitted to another user over peer-to-peer technologies.
  3. Private text chat may also be transmitted over peer-to-peer technologies. In ordinary operation, we do not intend to store the contents of your live peer-to-peer video/audio chat or peer-to-peer text messages on our servers just because you used the chat feature. However, related connection metadata, technical events, or safety evidence may still be processed as described below.

C. Technical and device information We and our service providers may automatically process technical data such as:

  1. IP address.
  2. Browser type and version.
  3. Device type and operating system.
  4. Referrer, approximate region, language, and timestamps.
  5. Socket/session identifiers and connection events.
  6. Error, diagnostics, and server log information.
  7. Information needed to provide security, anti-abuse, fraud prevention, traffic integrity, and load balancing.

D. Safety, moderation, and abuse-prevention data If safety tools are used, triggered, or enabled, we may process:

  1. IP address.
  2. Device or browser identifiers, including fingerprints or similar abuse-prevention identifiers.
  3. Country or region indicators.
  4. Report reasons and moderation notes.
  5. Canvas or image snapshots, uploaded evidence, or encoded image data submitted or captured for abuse review.
  6. Ban status, review timestamps, and enforcement actions.
  7. Metadata associated with suspicious or abusive sessions.

E. Browser storage and local app data The Service may store information on your device, including:

  1. sessionStorage data for matchmaking preferences and session setup.
  2. localStorage data for admin session state if you are an authorized admin.
  3. Service worker or PWA cache data for app assets and certain network resources.
  4. Cookies or similar technologies from us or third parties, if enabled.

F. Admin user data If you are an authorized admin, we may process:

  1. Email address.
  2. Password hash.
  3. Admin role.
  4. Login timestamps.
  5. JWT or bearer-token session data.
  6. Admin actions taken in the dashboard or moderation tools.

G. Advertising, affiliate, and third-party content data If monetization features are enabled, third parties may collect information through ads, embeds, tags, scripts, iframes, and affiliate links. That may include:

  1. IP address and approximate location.
  2. Device/browser identifiers.
  3. Ad impressions, clicks, redirects, and interaction events.
  4. Cookie or similar tracking data.
  5. Referrer and page interaction data.

Information About Other Users Shown in the Interface

The Service may show labels, badges, counts, activity indicators, partner details, or social-proof content. Some of this information may be approximate, delayed, inferred, estimated, illustrative, or system-generated and may not represent verified personal information about another individual user.

You should not rely on such information as confirmed identity, age, country, or availability data.

How We Use Information

We may use personal data to:

  1. Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service.
  2. Match users, establish peer connections, and manage chat sessions.
  3. Provide public-facing features, status indicators, and product functionality.
  4. Detect bots, fraud, abuse, spam, misuse, harassment, or policy violations.
  5. Moderate the platform and enforce our Terms.
  6. Troubleshoot bugs, outages, and performance issues.
  7. Manage advertising, affiliate, sponsor, and monetization workflows.
  8. Respond to support requests, legal notices, and law-enforcement requests.
  9. Comply with legal obligations.
  10. Protect our rights, users, personnel, and business.
  11. Manage admin accounts and internal operations.
  12. Improve the Service and develop new features.

Legal Bases for Processing

If GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, we generally rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

  1. Performance of a contract or taking steps at your request to provide the Service.
  2. Legitimate interests, including platform security, abuse prevention, moderation, service improvement, fraud prevention, diagnostics, monetization operations, and business administration.
  3. Consent, where required, including for certain device permissions, optional cookies, or specific processing activities.
  4. Legal obligation, where processing is required by law, regulation, court order, or lawful request.

Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies

We may use first-party or third-party storage technologies including cookies, local storage, session storage, caching, and service-worker storage.

These may be used to:

  1. Keep the app working.
  2. Save session preferences.
  3. Improve security and anti-bot protection.
  4. Support ads, affiliate flows, or embedded third-party content.
  5. Support performance, diagnostics, and caching. Some third-party providers, including anti-bot or ad vendors, may also place or read cookies or similar identifiers subject to their own policies.

Cloudflare Turnstile and Anti-Bot Features

If enabled, we may use Cloudflare Turnstile or similar anti-bot tools to protect the Service from malicious traffic. These tools may process browser, network, and interaction signals for abuse prevention and traffic validation.

Depending on configuration, Turnstile or related Cloudflare services may also use cookies or similar signals, including security-related cookies.

How We Share Information

We may disclose personal data to:

  1. Hosting, cloud, CDN, and infrastructure providers.
  2. Database, logging, and security providers.
  3. Anti-bot, anti-fraud, and abuse-prevention vendors.
  4. Ad networks, affiliate partners, sponsor providers, and embedded content partners.
  5. Analytics, diagnostics, and technical service providers.
  6. Professional advisers such as lawyers, auditors, and insurers.
  7. Law enforcement, regulators, courts, or government authorities where required or appropriate.
  8. Buyers, investors, successors, or counterparties in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets.
  9. Other parties with your direction or consent. We do not sell your name-based customer account data because the public Service does not require a normal user account. However, certain data disclosures to ad or affiliate partners may be considered "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under some laws, depending on how the Service is configured.

International Transfers

We and our providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States and other jurisdictions where privacy laws may differ.

Where required by law, we will use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including service delivery, safety, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement.

In general:

  1. Matchmaking preferences stored in browser session storage remain until your browser session ends or you clear them.
  2. Admin local storage remains until logout, removal, or browser clearing.
  3. Operational logs may be retained for a limited period as needed for diagnostics, security, and abuse prevention.
  4. Moderation, safety, and ban records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect the Service, enforce bans, comply with law, and resolve disputes.
  5. If we are legally required to preserve data, we may retain it longer.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:

  1. Access to personal data we hold about you.
  2. Correction of inaccurate data.
  3. Deletion of personal data.
  4. Restriction of processing.
  5. Objection to certain processing.
  6. Data portability.
  7. Withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent.
  8. Opt-out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where applicable.
  9. Appeal of a denied privacy request where required by law.
  10. Lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because JerkGo is a no-login public chat service, we may not always be able to identify a user from a general request alone. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity before completing a request.
